FAQ Scholarships
Fill out the application completely, attach any additional documents needed, complete your personal essay and email your packet to info@womanofwonder.org.
You may also send your submission by U.S. mail to the address listed on the Contact Us page.

Scholarship applications are accepted January 1 through March 30 for that year’s fall term.
Final deadline to submit the FAFSA® to Woman of Wonder is April 30.
Yes. We want to accommodate women who are trying to fit in school around family, a job, and other aspects of life, and may not be able to attend full time. That is why Woman of Wonder awards scholarships to part-time students, as well as full-time students.
Yes, as long as you are a resident of Washington State, you can apply for a Woman of Wonder scholarship. And if you are a scholarship recipient, you can use your scholarship to attend any out of state accredited college or university.
Applications can be submitted beginning January 1 and submissions close March 30.
Final deadline to submit your FAFSA® is April 30.
Everyone who qualifies for a Woman of Wonder scholarship and submits an application will be considered. We will send you a confirmation that your submission has been received. And after our board meets in May, we will alert the winners.
After the board concludes the scholarship distribution decisions, winning applicants are contacted by email.
The actual date that the Woman of Wonder scholarship checks are written and distributed may vary from year to year.
We have ongoing communication with our recipients, so throughout the process we will be communicating with the winners, including when the checks go out.
Scholarship checks are sent directly to the college or university to be applied toward your account.

Yes, you can apply more than once for a Woman of Wonder scholarship.
You can apply every year you are eligible.
You can apply to renew your scholarship.
Your chances to win a Woman of Wonder scholarship begin with being a resident of Washington State. You can improve your chances by reading and following the instructions on the scholarship application. Contact us if you have any questions.
Write a thoughtful and honest essay.
Lastly, in a clean and legible style, complete the scholarship application, in its entirety, and submit on time.

How do I send you FAFSA's Student Aid Report?
To complete your scholarship application, you will need to provide your Student Aid Report (SAR) issued by FAFSA. The directions are on the attached PDF.
Remember, the deadline to send your SAR is April 30, 2019.
