This Privacy Policy explains the policies of Woman of Wonder, Inc., a 501(c)(3), ("company", "we", "our" or "us") concerning personal identifying information you might supply to us via a form fill as a web visitor, or to an affiliate when applying for a Woman of Wonder Scholarship. We respect the privacy of participants on our site and the scholarship applicant site and are committed to protecting user privacy on the Internet.
Personally, Identifiable Information
We collect only limited "personally identifiable information" on the Site. Personally, identifiable information that you may provide to us, is information such as name, address, email, phone number(s). This information is gathered so that we can communicate with you, and administer our Site.
Unless prohibited by law, you have the right, upon reasonable notice, to view any personally identifiable information collected from your website visits to/or use of this Site, if necessary, make corrections to such information, or request that such information be requested removed from our systems. You may do so by contacting us at the address indicated at the end of this Privacy Policy Statement.
Website Usage
We use third-party tracking, such as Google Analytics (e.g., a cookie) to collect Site data to measure traffic sources, interactions with our content, aggregate audience demographics that may from time to time be available from Google such as age, gender, geography, acquisition by channel, devices (e.g. mobile and desktop). This is for us to make more informed decisions to improve user experience and re-engage audiences with better, more personalized marketing.
Email Communications
If you receive an email from us, we may use certain tools to capture data related to when you open or interact with our messages.
Text Communications
If you receive a text from us, that contains promotional information, you may opt-out of receiving future text messages by replying “STOP.”

To provide you with value-added information or services, our Site may also permit you to access non-affiliated sites directly from our Site. Minors
This site is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from such children.
Scholarship Applicants
We share only the Applicant’s information necessary to fulfill selection, disbursement, and record-keeping obligations for our selection process. In addition, the Applicant’s submission may be used for analytical purposes and in reports, both published and internally, to improve our scholarship awards, advocate on behalf of scholarship philanthropy, and advocate for access to higher education. Our scholarship application is through the state’s site, theWashBoard.org and we adhere to the privacy policies that allow us to be part of that site.
Scholarship winners will be announced on the website, in press releases, and in our marketing. Winners will be asked for their pictures for these purposes, which they may voluntarily provide.
Donor Information Never sold
We will not share or sell a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations.
Permission-based
If given your permission, we may share your information with a board member or volunteer to assign a Pen Pal to communicate directly with you as part of our Pen Pal Program.
Effective
The effective date of this Privacy Statement is June 20, 2021. It replaces all prior Privacy Policy Statements issued by us. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy Statement. Any such changes will be reflected in the updated version displayed on this Site.
