What does my donation support?

Your donation supports college scholarships for women of Washington State.

How do I donate?

You can donate online by clicking the yellow PayPal button, or go directly to our PayPal Giving Page, where PayPal covers all fees.

You can also write a check for your donation and mail it to our office in Southwest Washington:

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes, Woman of Wonder donations are tax deductible. Woman of Wonder is a 501(c) (3). Once you complete an online donation, you will receive an email that includes the necessary tax information, so make sure to save this correspondence for your records.Who do I contact if I have a question or problem making an online donation?

Is my online transaction secure when I donate to Woman of Wonder scholarships?

Yes. Simply said, using PayPal is safe.

Here’s the more complex answer.

PayPal uses Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) to encrypt data. When you click the PayPal button on our site and log on to PayPal, PayPal verifies that your internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) — or higher. The data processed is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available). PayPal servers are heavily guarded, both physically and electronically. To further shield your credit card and bank numbers, PayPal does not directly connect their firewall-protected servers to the internet.

In general, whenever you are making a payment or donation online, make sure you check the web address in your browser to insure your browser is connected to a secure server. You’ll know it’s secure when you see a locked padlock.

Why does my credit card statement say, “PayPal *WOMANWONDER?”

When you use our online donation process, it goes through the secure servers at PayPal.

Can I make a donation by mail?

Can I make a recurring online donation?

Yes. When you click the PayPal button, you will be given the options of making a one time or recurring donation. You can schedule the recurring donation for monthly annually for the Woman of Wonder scholarship fund.

My company matches donations to 501(c) (3)s. Is Woman of Wonder eligible for matching funds?

Yes, Woman of Wonder is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c) (3). Should your employer have questions, we are happy to connect with them in person (when possible), or by phone or email to facilitate setting up the matching donation campaign.

How do I donate to a special fund?

To donate to a special fund, simply include the information in the notes section of the online donation form, or include the name of the fund on your check.

Can I start a special fund in my mom's name?

Yes, we welcome fund champions to Woman of Wonder. To create a fund, please email or call the office to set up an appointment.

What's the difference between "in honor of" gifts and an "in memory of" gifts?

In honor of gifts are made in the name of someone living, and are excellent way to express your appreciation to those who made an impact on your life.

In memory of gifts are made in the name of someone who is no longer living.

To acknowledge an ‘in honor of’ or ‘in memory of gift,’ include the information in the notes section of the online donation form or include the fund name on your check.

Do you send a card to the person, or their family, when a gift is made in their name?

Yes, simply let us know if it is memorial gift, or an in honor of donation, and provide the person's name and address. With that in hand, we will mail a card acknowledging your gift.

What is Woman of Wonder’s Employer Identification Number (EIN)?

Our Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number is 83-0598189.

How do I cancel a recurring online donation?

If you are having trouble with the PayPal portal, you can contact us at 360-524-3189.

Does Woman of Wonder have an annual report?

Yes. The first annual report will be posted the first quarter of 2019 and annually thereafter.

Will Woman of Wonder sell, rent, share or trade my personal information?

How is Woman of Wonder supported?

Woman of Wonder is supported by donations.

Is there special recognition for donors?

Any size gift is accepted, and all gifts are acknowledged.

We also recognize donors based on giving levels that match up with the investment students need to graduate from college. Our special recognition giving clubs and circles are as follows:
