Support from beyond the community
In addition to support from the community, Woman of Wonder was affirmed both regionally and nationally with support for the nonprofit through in-kind donations.
Google Grants award
Woman of Wonder is a recipient of a Google Grants award.
The Google Grants program supports registered nonprofit organizations that share Google's philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy, and the arts. Google Grants is an in-kind advertising program that awards free online advertising to nonprofits via Google AdWords.
Google G-Suite Grant

Office space
First Presbyterian Church Vancouver provided office space for Woman of Wonder. A wall of shelves hosts our Books to Textbooks program. Several hundred books were donated and volunteers helped sort and organize them to initiate administration of the program.
During our first year, Woman of Wonder earned Guidestar’s Bronze Seal of Transparency. The Seal is an avenue to disclose financials in as transparent a way as possible, to earn trust and provide confidence that your donation is a sound investment: Bringing More to Women’s Lives.
Summary Annual Report
As Woman of Wonder moves forward, encouraging more women, opening new doors, and lighting new paths, we are grateful to the many who joined our Founders Club by making a monetary donation which will result in our first scholarship awards Summer 2019.
This support of women, as they pursue avenues to increase their earning potential and workplace marketability, benefits all of us. Award recipients learn that someone believes in them — and is willing to invest money in that belief. Children are mentored as they watch their parent set a goal and achieve it. Families become stabilized through better paying careers.
We can’t predict who will finish their degrees, or who may stumble, but we lead forward with confidence that increasing the chances of degree completion has payoffs more than dollars and cents.
Consider being part of this education legacy.
Build a better community and stronger families by supporting college scholarships for women.
